The University of Birmingham has made available funding for colleagues who wish to attend U21 events or require some small amounts of funds in relation to U21 visits or initiatives. This funding is open to both academic and non-academic staff.
These guidelines have been created to help colleagues consider whether they wish to apply for funds to do with small-scale initiatives with our U21 partners and to assist in the application process.
The fund provides a contribution towards costs that will facilitate staff in engaging with U21 institutions. It is expected that the applicant’s Department/College will make an equal or greater contribution.
Initiatives might include, for example, attending U21 conferences/events or contributing towards the costs of incoming U21 visits, i.e hosting a lunch.
