The scheme jointly supports scholarships for students from developing Commonwealth countries who would not otherwise be able to study in the UK. The award covers tuition fees, living expenses, air fare to and from the UK and a number of other small allowances.

The University of Birmingham has one Commonwealth Shared Scholarship to offer for the 2010/11 academic year. This award is available to students that have been offered a place on a taught masters programme in the International Development Department, with the exception of the Master of Business Administration (International) programme.

Please note that the deadline for receipt of application forms is 30 April 2010.
