Fees and finance

When studying in the UK you will need to ensure you have sufficient funds for your full tuition and living expenses.

Erasmus and International Exchange Programmes

Erasmus and International Exchange students do not pay tuition fees to the University of Birmingham. You should however check with your home institution if they still expect you to pay fees to them.

Living expenses

Students living in Birmingham benefit from lower living expenses than many other UK cities, particularly London. The University of Birmingham estimates that the cost of living for a single student is £670 per month (£8,040 for a year), including accommodation.
