Andrea Edwards
Andrea Edwards is the Director of Business Development and Mobility, a new division within International Relations, which has been established in recognition of the importance of supporting and developing our international partnerships and networks.
The division brings together the key areas of student and staff mobility, our work within the U21 network and our collaborative partnerships and institutional links.

Marilyn Miles
Marilyn Miles is the Head of International Business Development and her work involves identifying and taking forward opportunities for strategic international development, particularly partnerships and other institutional links. This includes exploring other collaborative opportunities with our current and new exchange partners which help to further strengthen and develop our relationships.

Melanie Humphreys
Melanie Humphreys has built up a wealth of knowledge and experience as a longstanding member of staff at the University of Birmingham. Melanie has worked in a variety of departments and roles across the University including; the School of Medicine and Dentistry, Team Leader in Postgraduate Admissions and more recently as PA to the Acting Director of International Recruitment. In these diverse positions, Melanie has worked closely with staff, students, and overseas representatives.
Melanie has recently joined the Study Abroad and Exchanges Office. As part of the Study Abroad Team, she is responsible for the coordination of all incoming student exchanges. Beena Anderson
Beena Bhangal is the Student Mobility Co-ordinator within the International Development and Mobility Team. Beena has worked in the University of Birmingham for four years. Her main areas of responsibility are the management of the Erasmus Programme including the policy, budgets and administration; this is for incoming and outgoing exchange staff and students. Beena is also responsible for contributing to the University’s international policy, creating and maintaining partner relationships. Queries concerning the Erasmus programme policy, development, budget and new agreements should be directed to Beena.

Natasha Edwards
Natasha Edwards joined the International Relations team just over two years ago after working as a Sales & Marketing Manager within various hotel groups.
Natasha is the Study Abroad & Exchanges Assistant (Outgoing) and is responsible for the coordination of all outgoing student activities including processing applications, advising students, giving pre-departure information and counseling returning students.
