Photographs and student profiles

We hope that you will send us your photographs to be published on the website and in next year’s literature – there are book tokens up for grabs for any that get used in the promotional materials. Please send them in to studyabroad@bham.ac.uk.

We are also looking for students to complete profiles or short stories that will be useful for future students trying to make decisions about their year abroad.

If you would like to submit a profile then please download the profile template complete it and email it to us at studyabroad@bham.ac.uk.

If you simply have any particular recommendations (or places to avoid) then please to drop us a note with your suggestions.

Volunteer opportunities

If you would like to find out more about volunteer opportunities where you can share your study abroad experience with other prospective students then please contact us at studyabroad@bham.ac.uk.

Careers advice

As you return from your year abroad it is really important to ensure that you know how to write up your experience on your CV and talk about it in an interview – being able to identify the key skills and qualities that you have gained during your year.
